Issue No. III of the RED-SPINEL Newsletter covers, inter alia, a report on the opening keynote address of Mr. Marc Tachelet, Director of the European Research Executive Agency (REA) at the RED-SPINEL 2024 Annual Conference (February 2024), and a short commentary on the the importance of participation and voter turnout for the 2024 European Elections. In addition,  it captures a  report on the Seminar of Prof. Vivien A. Schmidt, Member of the RED-SPINEL International Advisory Board, which took place at the IEE-ULB on 30 April 2024.  A report on the deliberations during the Seminar on “Conditionality and the Rule of Law in the EU”, which was hosted by the HEC Paris on 29 March 2024, is also included.
