La Charte des droits fondamentaux de l’Union européenne reste peu exploitée dans les contentieux relatifs aux droits de l’homme. La Charte a pourtant le potentiel pour devenir un des outils les plus utiles pour la protection des droits humains. C’est pourquoi, dans le cadre du projet RED-Spinel financé par la Commission européenne, l’Institut d’études européennes (ULB) propose une formation pour les praticiens du droit afin de les doter des compétences et des connaissances nécessaires pour pouvoir mobiliser la Charte dans le cadre d’un contentieux stratégique. 

The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union remains underused in human rights litigation. Yet the Charter has the potential to become one of the most useful tools for protecting human rights. This is why, as part of the RED-Spinel project funded by the European Commission, the Institute for European Studies (ULB) is offering a training course for legal practitioners to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to mobilize the Charter in strategic litigation.
