8. Ethics & Data Management

Work package 8 (WP8) will provide the necessary expertise and follow-up regarding RED-SPINEL’s Ethics & Data Management obligations. WP8 will help RED-SPINEL and its partner organisations meet the highest ethical and data management standards. Its role will be threefold as it engages in information collection, standard setting, and capacity building. 

Regarding RED-SPINEL’s supervisory and reporting obligations, WP8 will centralise all the necessary information reporting on the local ethics, data management and gender provisions within each partner organisation. It will make sure that all actions meet the standards set out in the European Charter for Researchers, including its code of conduct for recruitment; the MSCA Green Charter; and the requirements for research data management of Horizon Europe.
