In this Working Paper editors Ramona Coman and Nathalie Brack gather a range of interdisciplinary and intersectoral contributions from across the consortium with an eye on fleshing out the project’s own framing of its central concept: DISSENSUS. Over the course of a dozen contributions the Think Piece lays out the foundations of a new understanding of the relationship of dissensus, liberal democracy, and the rule of law, while also offering a working definition of the concept, an initial typology and the necessary premises of any future network analysis of so-called actors of dissensus.
